A Quick Post: Please Pray!

Right now, we are praising God! We had an incredible divine connection tonight with a young lady, Julia M., who teaches at UCF for multilingual studies, has 4 Christian roommates and they’re all in the Campus Crusade for Christ on-campus group at UCF and they need a place right away! I say divine connection because the so-called "coincidences" were incredible (of course, we all know God directs all our steps!). Julia not only knows the Wells family (the father/husband, Ken Wells is who I report to with S.E.E. and they’re the family that we’ll be working closely with in Udine, IT), but she also knows my old boss at FamilyLife, David Sims and his family, attends a great church in town that we have attended (Orlando Grace), she is a totally strong Christian and loves the Lord, has a heart for missions and wants to go overseas someday to do missions work! To top it off, the girls all need a place in a week (ahhhhh....Julia thinks they might be able to work out two weeks). The girls could even use some of our furniture, bikes, etc. so we might not have to store much of anything.

We’re like blown away! God is so good. Julia said she was really beginning to doubt God's provision as the girls have to be in a new place in a week and they have been looking non-stop. We must confess that we too have also struggled some with our faith as this is the biggest issue we have been up against that is holding us back and just the desire has been to get focused on the finish line (final support-raising, locating a new place in Udine, saying "see you later" NOT goodbye! :-) and finalizing details of government paperwork & requirements).

Please, please, please pray for when the 5 girls come over to see the house tomorrow at 12:15pm. This sure seems like it may be God’s perfect provision!
